Eligibility

You are: 

• A 7th grade middle school student as of September 2025

• New York City resident

• Available to attend weekly classes on Fridays from 4:30pm to 7:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 2pm.

• Willing to commit to taking the 2026 New York City Specialized High School Admissions Test

• Living in a moderate or low-income household.

• Friday classes will be held virtually while Saturday and summer classes will be held in-person.

How to Apply

The deadline to apply for the 2025-26 DREAMChasers is June 12, 2025.

All prospective students must sit for a practice exam on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 9:30am at Roy Wilkins Recreation Center (located at Merrick Blvd. bet. 115 Ave., 116 Ave., and Baisley Blvd.)
